Why the signed copy matters

Amazon will get you a book by Thursday. A signed paperback from the kitchen table takes a few extra days — and it has a person on the other end.

I am not competing with two-day shipping. If you need Room 308 tonight for a class, Amazon is the honest answer. If you want the copy that came from my hands, with a name in the front if you ask, that is this shop.

The three that belong together are Room 308, Bullies Among Us, and Life in a Week — thirty-two dollars for the signed set. PayPal takes the payment. I pack them. There is no warehouse robot in the story.

If it is a gift, say so in the note at checkout. If it is for a student who should not have to wait on a speech, say that too. I have been that student.

The first edition of Life in a Week is sold out. I will not pretend I have a box in the closet. The second edition is the one I still believe in sending.
